Mr Jasdeep Giddie

Mr Jasdeep Giddie is a consultant foot and ankle and trauma surgeon, with specialist fellowship training. Mr. Giddie has over 20 years' experience working in the National Health Service. He treats all foot and ankle conditions using open, arthroscopic (keyhole) and minimally invasive surgery where appropriate.

Alongside his NHS work at Wexham Park and Heatherwood hospitals, Mr Giddie also sees patients at The Parkside Suite Wexham - Slough, The Parkside suite Heatherwood – Ascot, The Princess Margaret Hospital - Windsor, and Spire Thames Valley Hospital.

Mr Giddie qualified from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2007. He completed his basic and higher surgical training on the East of England rotation before going on to accomplish two prestigious fellowships: the Windsor foot and ankle fellowship, and the diabetic and trauma fellowship at King’s College Hospital. He was later awarded the highly-sought-after British Foot and Ankle travelling fellowship, which he spent at a high-volume elective centre in Lyon, France.

Currently, Mr Giddie is the diabetic-orthopaedic lead and the clinical governance lead at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, where he is involved in several development projects to enhance patients’ experiences within the trust.

Multidisciplinary work is at the core of Mr Giddie’s patient-centred clinical practice. Often, surgery can be avoided, however if required, surgery will be performed to the highest standards of care.

Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman

Mr Jeremy Granville-Chapman is a consultant upper limb orthopaedic surgeon practising in Berkshire and Surrey.

 After graduating from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School in 2001, Mr Granville-Chapman pursued further training as an army doctor, excelling as the top candidate in entry officer medical training at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. He then served as regimental medical officer with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards in Germany before commencing surgical training in 2005.
 
He attained his MRCS qualification in 2007 during his junior surgical training and then conducted impactful research into resuscitation strategies for military wounding, earning a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree. His military career included surgical deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as coordinating care for repatriated wounded service personnel in Birmingham.
 
Specialist orthopaedic training in the London (South West Thames) region prepared Mr Granville-Chapman for his role as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. Towards the end of this, he excelled in the FRCS (Tr&Orth)exams, winning the Sir Walter Mercer Gold Medal for the top performance nationwide 2013. He was selected as the British Orthopaedic Association’s Young Ambassador to Hong Kong in 2104

Fellowship training at Wrightington Hospital and Brighton refined his specialist skills in advanced upper limb and trauma surgery.
 
Mr Granville-Chapman took up his consultant post at Frimley Health in 2016. He retired from the Army in 2019 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Mr Granville-Chapman contributes to the advancement of orthopaedic surgery through research and education. He has published in scientific journals, presented at international and national meetings, and received recognition, including the Ram Kumar Chatterjee BOA Travelling Fellowship. He shares his expertise through teaching engagements on shoulder arthroscopic and open surgery and fellowship exam preparation courses. 
 
Mr Granville-Chapman is affiliated with several professional organisations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, The British Elbow and Shoulder Surgery Society, the Combined Services Orthopaedic Society, and the Old Etonian Medical Society.

Committed to patient-centred care, Mr Granville-Chapman utilises advanced surgical techniques to restore function and alleviate discomfort for his patients. He has particular expertise in the arthroscopic (keyhole) management of the shoulder and elbow and in shoulder replacement surgery.

Mr Asef Al-ani

Mr. Al-ani is a consultant spinal orthopaedic surgeon, with dual spinal fellowship training. His spinal & orthopaedic training was at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, as well as Guys & St. Thomas Hospitals London. Mr. Alani has more than 20 years’ experience in the NHS. He treats all spinal conditions, including degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumours, trauma, as well as deformity. Mr. Al-ani has been awarded the Minimally Invasive & Navigated Spine fellowship from The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. His training has enabled him to carry out microscopic spinal surgery, to facilitate early recovery and decrease post operative pain.

Mr. Al-ani is part of the eGlobal international surgeons’ network and receives patients from all over the world.

Multidisciplinary teamwork is at the core of Mr. Al-ani’s patient centred practice. This coupled with his training and experience, enables him to deliver excellent up to date care. Mr Ciaran McGarvey

Mr Ciaran McGarvey is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee surgery at The Princess Margaret Hospital. He specialises in knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, meniscus, knee arthroscopy, sports injuries and osteotomy.

After graduating from Cambridge University in 2004, Mr McGarvey completed orthopaedic training at Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’s Hospitals in London. He further enhanced his skills by working with well-known knee surgeons, including Professor Ponky Firer in Johannesburg and Mr Tim Spalding in Coventry. During 2012-2016, he also served as the matchday team doctor for Saracens Rugby Club.

Mr McGarvey performs various knee surgeries like ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage repair. He's skilled at addressing issues such as patellofemoral pain and instability, providing customised solutions. For early knee osteoarthritis, he specialises in joint-preserving surgeries like osteotomy and focal resurfacing. In cases of established arthritis, he conducts joint replacement procedures, including both partial and total knee replacements.

Mr Sherif Hosny

Mr Hosny graduated in 2006 with a distinction from Royal Free and University College London Medical School. He completed specialist training in the South West London region and has trained at a number of major trauma centres including St Georges Hospital in London and the John Radcliffe in Oxford. He was awarded fellowships at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) and post-CCT fellowships at Frimley Park Hospital, St Marys Hospital and the prestigious Bournemouth and Poole Hip Fellowship. During his training and fellowships he has worked with world renowned hip surgeons and allied specialists. He has presented and published international papers and book chapters and is actively involved in academia and medical education.

Mr Hosny has almost 20 years experience and is today appointed at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Specialist Hip Surgeon.

Mr Hosny is solely focused on hip pathologies. His scope of practice includes hip osteoarthritis, hip replacement, resurfacing, revision, and peri-prosthetic surgery. Mr Hosny also has a specialist interest in young adult hip preservation and arthroscopic surgery as well as non-surgical treatments.

Dr Rafik Sedra

Dr. Rafik Sedra is a highly accomplished and experienced Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia who specialises in lower back pain, neck pain, pelvic pain, post-operative pain, fibromyalgia, and joint pain in the shoulder, hip, and knee. He also has expertise in managing sciatica, regional anaesthesia, shoulder pain including frozen shoulder, cancer pain, chronic pain, and radiofrequency intervention. Dr. Sedra firmly believes that chronic pain is best managed through a holistic approach that addresses the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of pain.

He undertook intensive and specialist training in chronic pain and anaesthetics at the Oxford School of Anaesthesia, with his chronic pain training completed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Dr. Sedra has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in established medical journals and is actively involved in teaching and mentoring trainees on a daily basis.

Currently, he practices at Frimley NHS Trust and works regularly in pain clinics, where his expertise in interventional pain procedures is highly sought after. Dr. Sedra’s comprehensive approach to pain management, combined with his advanced training and research contributions, makes him a leading figure in the field of pain medicine and anaesthesia.

Miss Fatima Husain

Miss Fatima Husain is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Benign Gynaecology and Fertility. Having qualified from King's College Hospital Medical School in 1986 she has over 38 years' experience as a doctor. After medical school, she continued her training in London working at Queen Charlotte's and St Georges hospital.

Currently, she manages Windsor Gynaecology and Fertility and carries out her private practice at the Spire Thames Valley clinic where she also operates. These clinics are easily accessible for patients across London, Ascot, Windsor, Slough, Gerrards Cross, Chalfont and Maidenhead. Miss Husain's NHS Consultant post is held at Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals (Frimley Health). She is the Lead Clinician for the Fertility Service at Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals. She has is actively involved in teaching and research. Her research interests including cultural aspects of IVF and Obesity/ PCOS.  She has been awarded the title of Adjunct Associate Professor for her role in teaching medical students from the American University of the Caribbean in her NHS practice.

She undertook intensive training at Guy's Hospital IVF Unit in the field of infertility and IVF and co-manages her fertility patients if they need IVF with colleagues at Thames Valley Fertility IVF unit in Maidenhead. 

The philosophy of her practice is to treat each sub fertile couple as unique, not only for diagnosis and treatment but also to ensure the emotional and social needs are addressed. Some women with fertility issues have associated problems such as fibroids or endometriosis. These can all be managed by Miss Husain.

In her General Gynaecology practice, she sees women with a vast range of gynaecological issues such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, painful sex. Additionally, she has special interests in early pregnancy complications, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause and hormonal problems. She performs mostly keyhole surgery to deal with many of these conditions. Her training at the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine has given her an insight and expertise in helping with sexual difficulties and has a network of colleagues with whom she provides tailored care.

Miss Husain is a member of a vast array of professional bodies including the British Medical Association, the British Fertility Society, the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology, the British Menopause Society and the British Society for Gynaecological Laparoscopy and European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology.
